Stop and Smell the Flowers
This is my own creation, any similarities to other tutorials is purely
coincidental and unintentional.
This is what we will be making...
Although this is a simple tag, the quote that I used is very improtant to me.
My cousin died at the age of 38, he was a very special person in my life.
During his last days alive he told me
"always make sure you take time to stop and smell the flowers".
This tut is dedicated to you Ralph.
Open a New Image 500 x 350.
Choose a tube of your choice.
Choose two colors from your tube and make a gradient.
Flood Fill your New Image with your gradient.
Add a New layer, add your tube.
Add a new layer.
Using your selection tool set to rectangle, draw a rectangle at the bottom like mine.
Flood fill the selection with your light color from your gradient.
Selections, select none.
Add a new layer. Add your text.
Add a new layer. Add your name and watermark.
Layers merge visible. Add a 2 pixel border.
Save as a gif.
