The Rose
This is my own creation, any similarities to other tutorials is purely
coincidental and unintentional.
This is what we will be making...
Open a New Image 600 x 450.
Choose two tubes, one of them being a rose of your choice.
Make a gradient choosing two colors from one of your tubes with these settings, Linear, Angle 0, Repeats 0.
Flood Fill your New Image with your gradient.
Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds with these settings, width 2, opacity 16, color black, horizontal, light from top both checked.
Add a New Layer, add your rose tube. Change the Blend Mode to Luminance.
Add a New layer, add your second tube.
Add a New layer, add some text or brushes of your choice.
Lower the Opacity to about 26.
Add a New Layer, add your name and waterwark.
Layers Merge Visible.
Add a 5 pixel border.
Image Resize by 85 percent.
Save as a jpg.
