Islands in the Stream
This is my own creation, any similarities to other tutorials is purely
coincidental and unintentional.
This is what we will be making...
Misted tubes made by La Manouche
Open a new Image 600 x 400.
Choose a scenic graphic of your choice, a misted couple tube and a misted candle tube of your choice.
Choose two colors from your scenic graphic, make a gradient, Linear, Angle 0, Repeats 0.
Flood Fill your New Image with your gradient.
Effects, Plugins, Redfield, Water Ripples, Side View, play with the
settings until you get the look that you want.
Lower the Opacity to about 52.
Click on your scenic graphic, Edit, Copy.
Click on your Flood Filled Image, Selections, select all, add a new layer, Edit, Paste Into Selection.
Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light.
Add a New Layer, add your couple tube.
Add a New Layer, add your misted candle tube.
Add a New Layer, add some text.
Change the Blend Mode to Overlay.
Add a New Layer, add your name.
Change the Blend Mode to Overlay.
Lower the Opacity to about 56.
Layers Merge Visible.
Add a 2 pixel light colored border, add a 2 pixel dark colored border,
add a 2 pixel light colored border.
Using your selection tool set to freehand, draw an outline your candle flame.
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000, Jiggle, with these settings...
Edit, Copy.
Open Animation Shop, Edit, Paste as New Animation.
Back in PSP, Edit, Undo select none, undo jiggle.
Effects, Plugins Eye Candy 4000, Jiggle, same settings
as before except change the warp amnount to 10.52 and the random speed to 169.
Edit, Copy.
In Animation Shop, Edit, Paste after current frame.
On your first frame, frame properties set on 25.
On your second frame, frame properties set on 35.
Save as a gif.
