Faded Images
This is my own creation, any similarities to other tutorials is purely
coincidental and unintentional.
This is what we will be making...
This tut is dedicated to my best friend Tammy, who died by suicide on May 16, 2002.
You will never be forgotten. Love ya.
Open a New Image 600 x 400.
Choose a scenic graphic of your choice and a misted tube of your choice.
Choose two colors from your graphic, make a gradient, Linear, Angle 0, Repeats 0.
Flood Fill your New Image with your gradient.
Click on your graphic, Edit Copy.
Click on your flood filled image, Selections, select all, Add a New Layer. Edit, Paste Into Selection.
Lower the Opacity to about 68.
Add a New layer, add your tube. Lower the Opacity to about 40. Duplictae this layer 3 times.
On your first copy of this layer, Lower the Opacity to 30,
next layer lower the Opacity to 20, next one Lower the Opacity to 10.
Add a new Layer, add some text.
Close out all of your copies of your tube layer, leaving only the original tube layer open.
Highlight the original tube layer, Layers Merge Visible. Edit Copy, Open Animation Shop, Edit Paste as New Animation.
Back in PSP, Edit, undo merge visible.
Highlight your first copy of your tube layer, close out the other tube layers, Layers, Merge Visible.
Edit Copy, now in Animation Shop Edit, Paste After Current Frame.
Repeat these steps with each of your copies of your tube layer.
In Animation Shop, Edit, Select All, right click, frame properties 75.
Save as a gif.
