Blends

This is my own creation, any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental and unintentional.

This is what we will be making...

This tut is all about using different blend modes, some of them you may not have used before.

Open a New Image 500 x 350.

Choose 3 graphics of your choice.

Choose two colors from one graphic and make a gradient with these settings, Linear, Angle 45, Repeats 0.
Adjust Add Noise, setting, Uniform 4, Monochrome checked.

Flood Fill your New Image with your gradient.

Now with each graphic you need to make them into misted images, if you haven't done this before,
please do my tut called Misting Images. :)

Once your graphics are ready, copy and paste each one
of them as a New Layer, so that each graphic has it's own layer.

Now starting with the first graphic layer, change your Blend Mode to Burn.
On the second graphic layer, change the Blend Mode to Multiply.
On the third graphic layer, change the Blend Mode to Luminance.

Add a New Layer, add your name. Change the Blend Mode to Exclusion.

Layers Merge Visible, add a 2 pixel border.

Save as a jpg.
